Weather & Location Policy

1. The "Safety First" Rule

At Paddle 'n Skidaddle, your safety is my absolute priority. While we love a bit of Highland weather, we don't play games with high winds or lightning.

Wind Limits: If constant wind speeds exceed 15 mph or gusts are forecasted above 25 mph, I may need to postpone or move the session.

Rain: We generally still paddle in the rain (you're going to get wet anyway!), provided visibility and water conditions remain safe.

2. Right to Change Location

To give you the best possible experience, I reserve the right to change the launch location at short notice.

If the wind is blowing the "wrong way" in Balintore, we might head to a more sheltered spot in Tain or a nearby loch.

I will always aim to give you as much notice as possible (usually 24 hours) if the meeting point needs to shift.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

If the weather is deemed unsafe by Paddle 'n Skidaddle and no suitable alternative location can be found:

Rescheduling: We will prioritize finding a new date that works for you.

Credit: If we can’t find a date immediately, you’ll receive a credit voucher valid for 12 months.

Refunds: If a reschedule isn't possible due to my availability, a full refund will be issued.
